Founded in 1957 by Alfred Wong the first Singapore Institute of Architects Gold Medalist, the partnership has grown in size and experience becoming a limited company in 1994, obtaining ISO 9001 certification in 1997. Alfred Wong Partnership Pte Ltd ( AWP ) has continued to develop with a broader scope of services and collaborative relationships to serve a diverse range of local, regional and international commissions and clients. The contemporary development of the company being represented by the opening of our China Office in 2003 to serve the growing number of commissions in China and support the International operation of the Singapore Head Office. The partnership has successfully collaborated with many international and locally based companies to serve our international clientele as well as our local clients with overseas projects. As an internationally recognized company our portfolio of projects cover commissions
in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

With directors whose individual experience ranges from twelve to fifty years the company management is representative of the larger team of both young and experienced architects and technicians of the company that offer contemporary and innovative design solutions in addition to an extensive proven track record of broad experience. Involvement in diverse building types and master plans has kept us poised on the leading edge of contemporary design concepts, building technology and forms of contract procurement.

It is our company objective to provide architecture and master plan proposals that are logically arrived at relative to issues of context, culture, function, form and construction, which are consistent with cost effective utilization of our clients investment capital and the effort required for a buildings creation.
